Just Salt started in 2004 as a small operation focused on saltwater chlorinators — at a time when most pool owners in South Africa still relied on liquid chlorine and shock dosing. Graham Donald saw an opportunity to bring electrolysis chlorination to the residential market, and began distributing Jasco-manufactured units out of a small workshop in the southern suburbs.
Over two decades we added pool cleaners (Gemini, manufactured by Injecta Plastics), filter media (Crystal Sands recycled glass), and water-saving products (WaterGuard, WaterWise) — all South African where possible, all backed by us locally.
Today we stock thirteen product lines across four categories, distribute eight South African brands, and service pools from Cape Town metro to the Boland and Overberg. The same principle still applies: real equipment, honest advice, support that picks up the phone.
